We publish once a year at the end of May distributing 10,000 copies throughout Kelowna, Vernon, West Kelowna, Peachland and Summerland.

We gratefully accept submissions. Note: All articles go through a blind reading to determine which ones will be published.

We reserve the right to edit accepted submissions. We reserve the right to reject submissions.

Writing Tips

To capture the readers attention and keep them engaged until the end of your article, we suggest you:

  1. Pick a topic of interest to a wide range of readers.
  2. Start with a problem that readers can relate to, or an interesting statement which will capture people’s attention.
  3. Be authentic. Write what you know / what you are passionate about.
  4. More words aren’t necessarily better. Readers like to get to the heart of the matter.
  5. Don’t write in point form. Use complete sentences and paragraphs.
  6. In the last paragraph of your article, bring it all home and talk about how your company provides the solution.
  7. Refrain from mentioning your company or organization in every paragraph. This will sound like a paid advertorial and readers will not keep reading.
